What is a patch?
A patch allows you to update your existing installation of a program to a newer version by downloading a file.
What does this patch do?
The Power BibleCD patch updates the Power BibleCD program file, usually correcting bugs and/or adding new features. It also usually updates the help file.
Does this patch add any new study material to my installation?
No. The patch is only designed to update the program file. If you wish to obtain new or modified study material added to the CD-ROM since the version you have, you will need to purchase a new CD-ROM. Discounts are available for upgrading; please call 1-800-243-7124 for details.

Steps to download and install the patch: (Please read completely before starting so you know what to expect.)
Make sure Power BibleCD is not running. If it is, simply close (exit) Power BibleCD. (Do not uninstall it.)
You will be asked what to do with the file when downloading starts. We recommend you simply select OPEN (or RUN). If you feel you need to save it to a location on your computer first, we recommend you save it to your desktop or to a floppy disk. In any case, do NOT save it to your Power BibleCD folder!
When the download completes, you may be prompted for action by Windows. Select OPEN or RUN to begin the installation of the patch.
When the patch starts, you will see something similar to this:
Read the text and click INSTALL to apply the patch. Note: the default install folder will be appropriate as long as you did not change the installation folder for Power BibleCD.
When the patch is done, it will close, and you can start Power BibleCD the way you normally do.
